What Really Caused The Galaxy Note 7 Devices Predicament

The Samsung team has been doing some wonderful job. The recall of their Galaxy Note 7 Devices, analyzing cause of errors(explosion or overheating), bringing together experts in the field of technology to investigate the issue and reporting back to the community is a very laudable development. As some of the professors who participated in the project clearly stated that, it is not for Samsung alone but the fact finding will be very useful for the whole industry.
Different reports and cases have been filed as to what the cause of this problem could have been. Read this one from www.bgr.com/ website
"According to a new report from Bloomberg that cites multiple anonymous sources, Samsung saw the leaks and rumors leading up to Apple’s recent iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus launch, and it identified an opening. All of the chatter ahead of Apple’s new iPhone launch suggested that this year’s new iPhone lineup was going to be boring and dull. As a result, Samsung thought it could rush out the new Galaxy Note 7 and steal Apple’s thunder with a gorgeous design and some hot new features like a built-in iris scanner.
From Bloomberg:
Earlier this year, managers at the South Korean company began hearing the next iPhone wouldn’t have any eye-popping innovations. The device would look just like the previous two models too. It sounded like a potential opening for Samsung to leap ahead.
So the top brass at Samsung Electronics Co., including phone chief D.J. Koh, decided to accelerate the launch of a new phone they were confident would dazzle consumers and capitalize on the opportunity, according to people familiar with the matter. They pushed suppliers to meet tighter deadlines, despite loads of new features, another person with direct knowledge said. The Note 7 would have a high-resolution screen that wraps around the edges, iris-recognition security and a more powerful, faster-charging battery. Apple’s taunts that Samsung was a copycat would be silenced for good. "
The truth wasn't yet known of what the root cause could have been.
From  the Wall Street Journal, "the cause of the fires ultimately depends on the battery within each Note 7."
How they were able to get this out and how true it was shows the depth of the fact finding they did before releasing the news. The report,
"Samsung used two different suppliers for the Note 7’s battery – Samsung SDI and the Hong Kong-based Amperex Technology Ltd. In the case of batteries from Samsung SDI, Samsung found that the batteries didn’t fit inside the phone properly because they were irregularly sized, an issue which caused overheating.
Once Samsung recalled the phones with SDI batteries in them, it turned to ATL to ramp up production on the batteries for replacement devices. However, this increased demand led to manufacturing defects which once again caused the batteries to overheat. These defects were at the center of the second Note 7 recall, which is when Samsung decided to pull the plug on the phone altogether.
That’s what the Wall Street Journal’s sources – unnamed people familiar with the matter – say, at any rate. A previous teardown of the Note 7 showed that there wasn’t enough room for the battery to swell during normal use, which put additional pressure on it. That pressure could cause the positive and negative plates within the battery to touch, which in turn would cause it to ignite." And now from the horses' mouth meaning from Samsung, words have come out and I don't think this should be a barrier to the trust and dedicated patronage the company had enjoyed but rather prove their dedication and loyalty to customers wellbeing and safety
They really bore the responsibility.

I don't understand that language but I like the man's thick voice.
As a matter of fact it is good the problem has been traced to the battery. I think it simply implies that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 only and really needs a very good suitable battery and that should be qualitatively provided for the phone without rushing. Why waste resources when the problem has been identified?
They have produced devices which stood the test of time and proved the quality of their products. If Lithium Ion battery won't suffice then, produce standard Lithium Polymer which would be suitable for the device. As it is true that lithium polymer batteries are safer and not prone to cause danger like lithium ion.
My infinix Hot X507 came with a 2000mAh Li-ion battery which barely serves me 4hr per day and six months later it(the battery) was swollen due to the multi tasking rigors  I put the phone through, I had to source for a 2500mAh Lithium Polymer that is presently doing the job well. No one has sued any company for a swollen battery because I simply enjoy my Infinix X507 phone with a Li-Polymer battery which serves me longer hours.

Laptop Batteries

If your laptop battery can not backup as it used to and you can only get thirty minutes or at most forty five of work done before you need to start  searching for an AC outlet? Sounds like it's time for a replacement battery. It is true that laptop batteries are  expensive but without a good backup your pc hard drive is at a risk and you could eventually lost your data in the occurrence of a possible crash. Price vary from one model to another but new ones sell for a few thousands of naira if you know what I mean.  There are some as high as ten to fifteen thousand naira. When you consider that brand-new laptops now sell from as low as forty five  thousand naira, it can be a hard pill to swallow. If your laptop is your primary PC, and you are sure of constant power from your AC outlet (can't vouch for that anyway) you may be wasting battery cycles by leaving it plugged in all the time. Try removing the battery until you actually need to go somewhere with your l...

Getting through times like this

Why do we live in surplus but we cry hunger. We cry recession while some are very busy with their projects of erecting gigantic structures. Some are even going on vacation. We can decide to do something for ourselves, our family, nation, and our future or relax and wait for an opportunity that may never come or blame the government. I got this post from a friend on WhatsApp WHO DRANK IT ? ? ? Ta lo mu ? ? ? Nigerian Breweries recorded sales of almost N300 billion in 2016 while Guinness is expected to record sales of N275 billion totaling almost =N=600 Billion (About $3billion) which is about 3% of our GDP. That is about 3 billion bottles of beer and when distributed across 170 million people are about 200 bottles per person a year. The average Nigerian is either a Christian or a Muslim. Both religions enjoined adherents to avoid alcohol. So, who drank =N=600 billion worth of alcohol in one year? A country with more churches and mosques than anywhere else on the continent. ...

China products trusted by Chinese

It is a good development when a country can depend on her citizens or a company within its borders to produce quality and suitable enough gadgets branded as made in that region and it enjoys very good patronage from the citizenry. A country with a good range of productive segment in her territory will witness rapid growth. Rapid economy development both locally and internationally will be part of their returns if properly scaled. A country who asks her citizens to stand up tall and backs them up will certainly succeed. They will make a good name. It might not be an easy task but in the long run both country and citizens will benefit and have good returns on investment (ROI) both in cash and kind. China has been very keen on this. We can see their results though we  may not know what they have gone through to achieve the level of success they presently have. They have been trying all efforts on the self sufficient mindset and it is paying them well with cash, internat...
